- ESCOM themselves said that losses were due to weak sales in the last
- quarter, especially a weak Xmas business. Moreover, they expected people
- would buy much more Windows95 stuff but people didn't.
- Most of their expenses were due to their rapid UK expansion
- in the first half of '95, which they hoped to compensate for in the second
- half of '95. This didn't happen.
- Wouldn't that be pure irony: ESCOM folds (and with it AT and the Amiga)
- because people refused to buy Windoze95 ?
